Adamson ends four-game slide, sweeps UE 3-0

Adamson University snapped its four-game losing streak with a decisive 25-20, 25-11, 25-21 victory over the winless University of the East in the UAAP Season 87 women's volleyball tournament on Saturday, March 22.

The Lady Falcons played with extra motivation and authority, securing their third win to improve their record to 3-5 while extending UE's losing streak to eight games.

Rookie Shai Nitura led Adamson with 18 points from 17 attacks and one block, followed by Mayang Nuique’s 11 points and Barbie Jamili’s 9 points.

After winning the first two sets convincingly, Adamson overcame a three-point deficit in the third set to secure their victory.

Khy Cepeda led UE's scoring effort with 10 points, followed by Nessa Bangayan and Riza Nogales with nine and eight points respectively.
