PNP reports 35,915 total cases, 234 new infections

As of Tuesday, September 7, 2021, the Philippine National Police (PNP) reported a total of 35,915 COVID-19 cases among its personnel with 234 new infections.

The recovery count stands at 33,554 while there are 2,253 active cases and 108 deaths remain unchanged since August 31.

Two recent fatalities include a 50-year-old policeman from Region 1 who died on August 29 after testing positive for the virus, and a 39-year-old policewoman from Region 3 who passed away on September 1 due to complications from COVID-19.
