Military offers vaccines to surrendering CPP-NPA rebels

Military official Maj. Gen. Romeo S. Brawner Jr. offered COVID-19 vaccines to CPP-NPA rebels who surrender, after tests on captured and slain rebels revealed they were infected.

Three of ten captured rebels from a September 8 clash in Bukidnon tested positive for the virus, as did an NPA rebel killed in Talakag on September 9.

In another encounter on September 10 in Valencia City, three out of four captured rebels showed positive results, including two minors.
