Over 15M Filipinos fully vaccinated vs COVID-19

As of Thursday, over 15 million individuals have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19, according to vaccine czar Secretary Carlito Galvez.

Galvez reported that a total of 37,176,513 doses have been administered out of the 52,792,130 received doses.

The Philippines expects more than 61 million vaccines this month and in October as deliveries from Sinovac, Pfizer, and US-COVAX become steady.

Malacañang announced that at least 15 million Filipinos are fully vaccinated against COVID-19, accounting for 19.49% of the target population needed to achieve herd immunity by year-end.

The government aims to vaccinate 70 percent of eligible adults and is considering pediatric vaccination and booster shots once population protection is achieved.
