PH logs over 9K new Covid-19 recoveries

As of Friday, September 10, the Philippines logged over 9,000 new recoveries from COVID-19, bringing the total number of recovered cases to 1,969,401.

The Department of Health also reported a slight decrease in new cases with 17,964 recorded compared to Thursday's record-high 22,820.

Active cases stand at 175,470 or 8% of all known infections, with the majority showing mild symptoms (87.8%).

The death toll increased by 168 new fatalities, reaching a total of 34,899 deaths since the start of the pandemic.
