PNP COVID-19 deaths hit 110

As of Wednesday, September 15, 2021, another PNP personnel has died due to COVID-19, increasing the death toll to 110.

The latest fatality is a 52-year-old male cop from Western Visayas who was hospitalized in Iloilo City on September 9 after experiencing difficulty breathing and succumbing to cardiac arrest and pneumonia.

On August 3, this officer completed his COVID-19 vaccination series but still contracted the virus.

As of Tuesday, September 14, a total of 37,566 cases among PNP personnel have been recorded with 229 new infections; recoveries stand at 34,403 while active cases are at 2,685.

The death toll remains unchanged from the previous day's report.
