DFA: 287 more overseas Filipinos recover from COVID-19

As of Monday, September 6, the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) reported 287 new recoveries among overseas Filipinos (OF), bringing the total number of OF recoveries to 13,215.

The DFA also recorded 130 new cases and seven deaths, increasing active cases to 8,445 and the death toll to 1,376.

Recoveries are highest in the Middle East and Africa with 6,568, followed by Asia Pacific with 3,425, Europe with 2,562, and Americas with 660.

Active cases are predominantly in the Middle East and Africa (5,480), followed by Asia Pacific (1,877), Europe (959), and Americas (129).

Deaths among OFs are also highest in the Middle East and Africa (925), followed by Americas (247), Europe (130), and Asia Pacific (74).
