Shear line, amihan to bring rains over Luzon

The shear line and the Northeast Monsoon are expected to bring rain over various parts of Luzon, according to PAGASA.

The Bicol region, Isabela, Quirino, Aurora, Rizal, Laguna, Quezon, Oriental Mindoro, Marinduque, Romblon, Northern Samar, Eastern Samar, and Samar will experience scattered rain showers and thunderstorms due to the shear line.

Possible flash floods or landslides may be expected in affected areas due to moderate to heavy rains.

Cloudy skies with rains are anticipated over Apayao, Kalinga, Ifugao, Mountain Province, and the rest of Cagayan Valley due to the Northeast Monsoon.

The Ilocos Region, Abra, Benguet, and the rest of Central Luzon will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains from the amihan.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country can expect partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms, influenced by localized thunderstorms.

PAGASA also advised the public of risks from possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.
