Shear line, Amihan to bring rains across PH

The shear line and the northeast monsoon will continue to bring cloudy skies and scattered rain showers to several parts of the Philippines in the next 24 hours, according to PAGASA.

Metro Manila, Calabarzon, Bicol Region, Oriental Mindoro, Occidental Mindoro, Marinduque, Romblon, and Eastern Visayas will experience cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms due to the shear line.

The public is warned of the risks of flash floods and landslides during moderate to heavy rains.

Cagayan Valley, Apayao, Kalinga, Ifugao, Mountain Province, and Aurora will have cloudy skies with light rains due to the northeast monsoon.

The Ilocos Region, other parts of the Cordillera Administrative Region, and the rest of Central Luzon can expect partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains.

The rest of the country will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms caused by localized thunderstorms.

PAGASA also warned of flash floods or landslides that may occur in high-risk areas during severe thunderstorms.
