Shear line, Amihan to bring rains over Luzon

The shear line and the Northeast Monsoon (Amihan) are expected to bring rain showers to parts of Luzon.

Aurora and Quezon will experience cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms due to the shear line, with the potential for flash floods or landslides from light to moderate to at times heavy rains.

The Ilocos Region, Cordillera Administrative Region, and Cagayan Valley can anticipate partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains brought by the monsoon.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to the shear line and localized thunderstorms, and are also at risk of flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.

The shear line is expected to bring scattered moderate to heavy rains over the eastern sections of Luzon and Visayas through Thursday.

Metro Manila may experience mostly overcast skies this week with possible isolated light rains.

Drier and cooler conditions may be experienced towards the weekend.
