Rains to prevail across Luzon; northeast monsoon brings showers

Most parts of the country will experience rains on Monday with gusty winds over Kalayaan Islands due to a tropical storm that exited the Philippine Area of Responsibility.

PAGASA forecasts scattered rain showers and thunderstorms over Bicol Region, Aurora, and Quezon, while partly cloudy skies with isolated rain showers are expected in Visayas, Mindanao, and the rest of Palawan.

The northeast monsoon will cause rains over Cagayan Valley and light rains over Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon.

Moderate to heavy rains are still expected in Cagayan Valley, Cordillera, parts of Quezon, and Aurora provinces on Monday after tropical depression Vicky exits the country late Sunday.
