Malacañang suspends classes, work in Batangas until further notice

Malacañang has suspended classes and government work in Batangas province until further notice due to the Taal Volcano eruption.

Classes and work are suspended in Calabarzon, Metro Manila, and Central Luzon for Monday, January 13, but frontline disaster response agencies are exempted.

For Tuesday, January 14, classes remain suspended in all levels of Batangas province while government work resumes in NCR, Region 3, and the rest of Calabarzon except Batangas.

Private sector entities are encouraged to suspend operations for employee safety.
