VSPC set for Tour of Luzon, April 24–May 1

Victoria Sports Pro Cycling (VSPC) is set to compete in the revived Tour of Luzon, a multi-stage elite cycling race returning from April 24 to May 1.

The event marks VSPC's opportunity to showcase their skills and build on last year's successes, including winning Overall Team Winner at the Tour de Southern Leyte and other international races.

VSPC founder Pako Ochoa emphasized the importance of raising the level of Philippine cycling through this competition, stating it is a stepping stone for the sport.

The team will feature riders such as Marcelo Felipe (National Champion), Nichol Pareja, Daniel Cariño, Ean Cajucon, Rush Camingao (U23 National Road Champion), Kenneth Maramba, and Miguel Obmerga in the Tour of Luzon.

Covering at least 60 cities and municipalities across seven provinces in North and Central Luzon, the race includes a special fly-by at New Clark City and concludes with a queen stage in Baguio City.

In addition to VSPC, other Philippine teams and foreign teams from Hong Kong, Malaysia, Taiwan, and South Korea will compete for prizes totaling P1.5 million.
