Ean Cajucom wins Stage 3 of Tour of Luzon

Ean Cajucom of the Victoria Sports Cycling Team won Stage 3 of the 2025 Tour of Luzon on Saturday, outshining bigger names in a mass sprint finish and securing his victory with a time of 2 hours, 51 minutes, and 42 seconds alongside 98 other cyclists.

Cajucom, a 22-year-old cyclist from Marikina, finished ahead of Malaysia Pro Cycling Team's Ahmad Syazrin Awang Ilah and Dreyna Orion Cement's Poul Aquino in the final sprint under scorching temperatures of 39 degrees Celsius.

Joo Dae Yeong of the Gapyeong Cycling Team maintained his overall lead with an accumulated time of 7:04:27, four minutes ahead of Ronald Oranza of Standard Insurance, despite finishing 76th in Stage 3.

A group of eight riders led by Jeremy Lizardo of Standard Insurance broke away early but were caught in the final five kilometers as the peloton narrowed near Bacnotan, La Union.

Standard Insurance holds the team general classification lead with a total time of 28:38:24, just 19 seconds ahead of MPT Drivehub Cycling Team.
