Van Sickle wins PVL MVP for second straight year

Brooke Van Sickle claimed her second consecutive PVL Most Valuable Player award and led Petro Gazz to a historic All-Filipino Conference championship against Creamline on Saturday, April 12.

Van Sickle topped the league in scoring with 349 points, including 296 attacks, 30 kill blocks, and a league-leading 23 aces, while also finishing third in receiving efficiency and sixth in digs per set.

In an Instagram post, Van Sickle expressed her pride in achieving this milestone, noting that even her younger self would be in awe of her accomplishments.

Savi Davison of PLDT and Bernadeth Pons of Creamline were named the Best Outside Spikers, while Bea De Leon of Creamline won her first career Best Middle Blocker award alongside ZUS Coffee's Thea Gagate.

Trisha Tubu from Farm Fresh was honored as the Best Opposite Spiker for the second time in three conferences, and Kyle Negrito of Creamline earned his fourth consecutive Best Setter title.
