Petro Gazz wins first All-Filipino Conference title

Petro Gazz coach Koji Tsuzurabara expressed his emotions after the team defeated Creamline Cool Smashers to win their first Premier Volleyball League All-Filipino Conference title.

Tsuzurabara's unwavering belief in his players' ability to achieve this milestone finally came true, as Petro Gazz secured its third overall championship and Tsuzurabara claimed his first since taking over the coaching reins in January last year.

Brooke Van Sickle and MJ Philips played crucial roles, earning the Conference Most Valuable Player and Finals MVP awards respectively, with both players expressing their satisfaction and relief at achieving their collective goal.

Van Sickle praised her teammates for their focused effort on winning the championship, while Philips expressed relief at finally securing a title.

Veteran setter Chie Saet also contributed significantly to Petro Gazz's success, hinting that her career may be nearing its end but she might play a bit longer.
