Petro Gazz beats Creamline 3-1 to win PVL All-Filipino title

Petro Gazz defeated Creamline Cool Smashers 25-21, 25-16, 23-25, 25-19 in their rubber match to clinch the Premier Volleyball League All-Filipino Conference title on Saturday at the PhilSports Arena in Pasig City.

With this victory, Petro Gazz ended a two-year title drought and secured their first All-Filipino championship since joining the league in 2018, making it their third overall PVL title.

Led by Brooke Van Sickle, who was named Conference Most Valuable Player, Petro Gazz prevented Creamline from winning a fifth consecutive crown, marking a significant achievement for both teams.

Van Sickle and her teammates demonstrated resilience and determination throughout the five-month battle, culminating in their historic win against defending champions Creamline.

Petro Gazz's triumph highlights their growth over time, with coach Koji Tsuzurabara and team captain Remy Palma leading the way to victory.
