UST leads UAAP Season 86 girls' beach volleyball

University of Santo Tomas secured the solo lead in the UAAP Season 86 girls' beach volleyball tournament after defeating Adamson University on Saturday evening and Far Eastern University-Diliman (FEU-D) on Sunday, improving its record to 5-0.

UST's Khy Progella, Cameron Grace Villaluz, and third player Grithney Jhyn Dadang defeated FEU-D's Frenchie Premaylon and Love Lopez in straight sets, 21-17, 21-16, on Sunday evening.

Adamson University maintained its strong performance by defeating De La Salle-Zobel with a score of 21-12, 21-9, securing the second seed for the Final Four at a 5-1 record.

In the boys' division, UST, Nazareth School of National University (NUNS), Adamson, and FEU-D remain tied atop the standings with identical 5-1 records.
