Typhoon Ulysses displaces over 59K families in Central Luzon

Typhoon Ulysses caused two deaths and injured two people in Central Luzon on Thursday.

As of Friday, a total of 59,505 families (271,660 individuals) were displaced across 39 municipalities and 266 barangays in the region due to flooding.

Bulacan was hardest hit with 42,411 families (205,693 individuals) displaced, followed by Pampanga with 12,768 families (50,084 individuals).

On Thursday, approximately 18,874 families or 73,945 residents in Bulacan, Bataan, Pampanga, Zambales, and Aurora were affected by floods.

In Bulacan alone, around 68,242 people from 17,070 families were impacted with 359 individuals staying in evacuation centers.
