UE aims for Final Four with win over Adamson

University of the East (UE) aims to strengthen its position for the Final Four in the UAAP Season 87 men's basketball tournament by facing Adamson University on Wednesday at the Mall of Asia Arena.

Currently holding solo third place with a record of 6-3, UE is just behind De La Salle University and UP, both of which have already secured semifinal spots.

UE's victory against Adamson would bring them closer to their goal of ending a 14-year drought since their last Final Four appearance in 2009.

Adamson University, currently at 3-7, is struggling but needs wins to stay competitive in the race for the Final Four.

In the second game at 6:30 p.m., UP will face Ateneo de Manila University in a Battle of Katipunan rivalry match.

UE's success hinges on key players like Precious Momowei and Wello Lingolingo, who have led a five-game winning streak that has reshuffled the league standings.
