Typhoon Odette kills 80 in Bohol

Typhoon Odette has caused 80 deaths in Bohol as of Monday morning, according to Governor Arthur Yap.

Yap reported 13 missing persons, 78 injured, and 28,845 evacuated families.

The death toll rose from 63 on Sunday to 74 by evening, with communication disruptions preventing full reporting from all local government units.

Ubay has the highest number of fatalities at 13, followed by San Miguel and Loon each with six deaths.

Evacuation centers are sheltering over 59,860 individuals as power outages persist across the province.
