DPWH: Odette causes P308M infra damage

As of Monday, December 20, the DPWH reported that Typhoon Odette caused PHP308.9 million worth of damage to government infrastructure.

Eight national roads remain impassable across Mimaropa, Eastern Visayas, Soccsksargen, and Caraga due to landslides, fallen trees, debris, and damaged bridges.

On Saturday, December 18, the DPWH estimated initial damages at PHP213.9 million with six roads still closed.

By Friday, December 17, the damage was initially assessed at over PHP178 million for roads and bridges in Visayas and Mindanao.
