Odette affects over 11K families, 26K preemptively evacuated

Typhoon Odette has affected over 11,859 families or 41,434 individuals across several regions.

As of the latest updates, 26,430 families (98,091 individuals) have been preemptively evacuated in Central Visayas, Eastern Visayas, Northern Mindanao, and Caraga due to Odette.

Evacuation centers are assisting 4,989 families while others take shelter with friends or relatives; around 73 seaports remain non-operational.

The NDRRMC reports one death and two injuries, though these figures are still being validated.

Stranded passengers number at least 4,503 along with cargo and vessels in multiple regions.
