TNT Tropang 5G beats Terrafirma Dyip 110-74

TNT Tropang 5G broke Terrafirma Dyip's two-conference winning streak with a dominant 110-74 victory in the PBA Philippine Cup on Friday.

Calvin Oftana led TNT with 22 points, while Poy Erram contributed 19 and Rey Nambatac added 12, as five players scored in double figures for TNT.

TNT secured a double-digit lead early in the first quarter and maintained their advantage throughout, widening it to as much as 46 points by the end of the third quarter.

Despite Terrafirma's previous upsets over TNT in earlier conferences this season, TNT head coach Chot Reyes emphasized that the team's objective was to focus on effort and energy rather than assessing form at this stage.

TNT will face Meralco Bolts on Sunday, May 11, while Terrafirma Dyip aims to break their five-game losing streak against NLEX Road Warriors next Wednesday, May 14.
