Magnolia Hotshots win fifth straight game in Philippine Cup

Magnolia Hotshots maintained their perfect record in the PBA Philippine Cup by defeating Terrafirma 127-94 at the Ynares Center on Sunday, May 4.

Led by Zavier Lucero's near double-double of 17 points and nine rebounds, Magnolia used a strong first half to extend their lead and secure their fifth straight win in the conference.

The Hotshots' balanced attack saw seven players score at least eight points each, with all 15 players contributing to the scoring.

Terrafirma struggled to keep up after trailing by just two points at halftime but could not recover from Magnolia's dominant second quarter where they allowed only 12 points while scoring 38.

Louie Sangalang recorded a triple-double for Terrafirma with 19 points, 12 rebounds, and seven assists, while Stanley Pringle and Kevin Ferrer added 17 points each for the Dyip.
