PUI in South Cotabato tests negative for Covid-19

A patient in South Cotabato who died last week tested negative for Covid-19, easing concerns.

Dr. Rogelio Aturdido Jr., chief of the South Cotabato Integrated Provincial Health Office, confirmed that six PUIs from the province have now tested negative.

Despite this, 16 PUIs in total have been cleared and four more samples are being sent to RITM for testing.

In Rizal, an 80-year-old woman died before her coronavirus infection was confirmed; she had initially been admitted with gastroenteritis.

Taytay, Rizal has confirmed two cases of COVID-19 including one fatality who passed away prior to receiving test results.

The local government is monitoring 106 persons under monitoring and 11 persons under investigation.
