Peralta tests negative for coronavirus after trip to Netherlands

Chief Justice Diosdado Peralta tested negative for COVID-19 after showing symptoms following his travel to the Netherlands.

Peralta traveled to The Hague from March 1 to 7 for an official business trip.

Upon returning, he self-quarantined and was advised by doctors to get tested due to his persistent coughing and recent travel to a country with over 2,000 cases of COVID-19.

The Chief Justice assured the judiciary officials and public that he is working from home and closely monitoring court situations across the country.
