DOT Sec Puyat self-quarantines after exposure to COVID-positive AFP chief

Tourism Secretary Bernadette Romulo-Puyat announced she would undergo self-quarantine after being exposed to Armed Forces of the Philippines Chief of Staff Gen. Felimon Santos Jr., who tested positive for COVID-19.

Puyat, who met with Santos on March 20, said she will not get tested as she is asymptomatic and wants to conserve testing kits for those in need.

She emphasized that her priority is the safety of others around her and assured that she would continue working remotely while in quarantine.
