Taguig thanks national gov't for ECQ aid

Taguig Mayor Lino Cayetano thanked the national government for allocating PHP805.83 million in aid to residents affected by the two-week ECQ.

The city started distributing emergency relief assistance from the national government on Wednesday, following the release of Joint Memorandum Circular No.1, series of 2021, by the Department of the Interior and Local Government, Department of Social Welfare and Development, and Department of National Defense.

Cayetano ordered the preparation and completion of beneficiary lists to ensure efficient distribution of aid as required by JMC.
