Duterte urges NCR Plus mayors to speed up aid distribution

President Duterte has urged mayors in the NCR Plus area to expedite the distribution of P1,000 cash aid to individuals affected by the recent enhanced community quarantine.

As of Tuesday, only 8% of the total P22 billion cash aid had been distributed, prompting Duterte's call for faster action.

Duterte expects local government officials to give their best efforts in ensuring speedy distribution of assistance following the downgrade from ECQ to MECQ on April 12.
