Duterte approves PHP22.9B aid for NCR Plus ECQ residents

President Duterte approved PHP22.9 billion for financial assistance to residents affected by the enhanced community quarantine (ECQ) in NCR Plus.

The DILG and DSWD issued guidelines stating that aid will be PHP1,000 per individual with a maximum of PHP4,000 per family.

LGUs will decide whether to distribute the aid in cash or in kind based on Local Budget Circular 136 from the DBM.

The assistance is intended for at least 80% of low-income households in NCR Plus and will be distributed by authorized government servicing banks.
