Manila starts PHP1.5-B cash aid distribution

Manila has started distributing PHP1.5 billion in cash aid to families affected by the reimposition of enhanced community quarantine.

Mayor Francisco 'Isko Moreno' Domagoso said that each family will receive up to PHP4,000, with about 380,000 families set to benefit.

The city government will post beneficiary lists on social media and distribute aid in batches as provided by the national government.
