St. Luke’s QC, BGC stop accepting new COVID-19 patients

St. Luke's Medical Center in Quezon City and Bonifacio Global City are no longer accepting new COVID-19 patients due to exceeding maximum capacity.

The hospitals currently have 48 confirmed cases, 139 patients under investigation, and 592 healthcare workers in quarantine after close contact with confirmed cases.

Hospital management stated that admitting more patients would severely impact their ability to provide critical care.

Despite this, the hospitals will continue providing outpatient testing for those who meet DOH criteria and maintain open emergency rooms for non-COVID medical services.
