DOH eyes Quezon Institute, Red Cross as quarantine facilities

The DOH is planning to establish more community quarantine facilities for COVID-19 patients to decongest hospitals and isolate mild cases from severe ones.

DOH Undersecretary Maria Rosario Vergeire mentioned discussions with the Quezon Institute and Philippine Red Cross to set up a large quarantine facility.

This initiative aims to monitor patients under investigation or those with mild symptoms who have been sent home.
