MMC reaches full capacity for COVID-19 cases

Makati Medical Center (MMC) has reached full capacity for coronavirus cases.

The hospital declared maximum capacity on March 24 after reviewing bed capacity, workforce availability, and supply of infection prevention equipment.

MMC has treated over 700 suspected COVID-19 cases since the virus reached the Philippines, with nearly 70 patients currently confined, including frontline healthcare workers.

St Luke’s hospitals in Quezon City and Bonifacio Global City, as well as The Medical City in Pasig, have also hit maximum capacity for coronavirus cases.
