Shear line brings scattered rains to Northern Luzon

The shear line affecting Northern Luzon is causing scattered rain showers and thunderstorms in Cagayan Valley, Ilocos Norte, and Apayao on Friday.

PAGASA warned that flash floods or landslides could occur due to moderate to heavy rains from the shear line.

For the rest of Luzon, warm and humid weather will be experienced with chances of localized thunderstorms in the afternoon or evening.

The LPA left PAR at 5 pm on Thursday, January 27, after causing rain in parts of the country earlier this week.
