PAGASA: Rain, thunderstorms in north, central Luzon

PAGASA forecasts cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms over Cagayan Valley, Kalinga, Mt. Province, Ifugao, Benguet, and Central Luzon due to a frontal system.

The weather bureau advises residents in these areas to prepare for possible flash floods or landslides due to moderate to heavy rains.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will experience partly cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to easterlies or localized thunderstorms.

Moderate to strong winds and rough coastal waters are expected over Northern and Central Luzon.
