San Miguel beats Blackwater 115-102 in PBA Commissioner's Cup

San Miguel Beer secured a victory over Blackwater Bossing in the PBA Season 49 Commissioner's Cup with a score of 115-102 at the Ynares Center in Antipolo on Sunday.

June Mar Fajardo, despite playing under the weather, led San Miguel with 27 points and 22 rebounds along with six assists, helping them overcome an initial deficit to win their second straight game.

San Miguel overcame a first-quarter deficit of 18-28 by outscoring Blackwater 37-22 in the second quarter and steadily extended their lead thereafter.

Torren Jones contributed significantly with 29 points and 14 rebounds, while CJ Perez added 16 points and six rebounds to support Fajardo’s efforts.

Blackwater's George King scored a game-high 40 points but was unable to prevent his team from falling to a 1-4 record in the season.

Head coach Leo Austria praised the team's deliberate approach, noting their need to push themselves harder to secure this victory and improve their win-loss record to 3-2.
