San Miguel beats Terrafirma 106-88 with Leo Austria's return

San Miguel defeated Terrafirma, 106-88, on Friday in the PBA Commissioner's Cup at Ninoy Aquino Stadium.

Leo Austria returned as head coach of San Miguel and led them to victory, marking his first win after a long absence from coaching.

Torren Jones contributed significantly with 24 points and 13 rebounds, while June Mar Fajardo added 21 points, 19 rebounds, and seven assists in his dominant performance that saw him surpass Alvin Patrimonio on the all-time PBA rebounding list.

San Miguel improved its record to an even 2-2 in the conference, while Terrafirma dropped to a 0-5 win-loss mark.

The Beermen will face Blackwater this Sunday at Ynares Center in Antipolo City, aiming to extend their winning streak.
