Bolick's clutch performance leads NLEX comeback vs San Miguel

Bolick's clutch performance included hitting back-to-back three-pointers and a crucial four-pointer with 1:27 left that put NLEX ahead for good, followed by an assist on Michael Griffin-Watkins' slam dunk.

Griffin-Watkins contributed significantly with 28 rebounds and 17 points, while San Miguel struggled despite June Mar Fajardo's 20-point, 19-rebound effort.

NLEX overcame a 19-point deficit in the fourth quarter to outscore San Miguel 33-24 and secure their third consecutive win.

Coach Jong Uichico praised Bolick for his performance, noting that he made decisions and big shots that were crucial to the victory.

San Miguel import Quincy Miller scored 21 points but shot only eight-of-21 from the field, as the Beermen slipped to a 1-1 record to open their title defense bid.
