Provinces buy more Covid-19 test kits

Biliran province plans to purchase an additional 760 rapid antibody test kits and at least 2,281 swab kits to enhance its fight against Covid-19.

The provincial government will cover half of the cost for these tests, with local government units contributing the rest using their Bayanihan funds.

In Samar, Governor Michael Tan awaits the delivery of 2,500 rapid antibody test kits to boost mass testing in the province.

Those who test positive through a rapid test will be referred to DOH for confirmatory swab tests, while those who test negative must undergo strict home quarantine.
