DOH finds four new Covid-19 cases after random tests in Davao

Four new Covid-19 cases were found in Davao City after random testing conducted by the DOH over the weekend.

The tests were carried out in villages under lockdown in Leon Garcia, Bankerohan, Buhangin, and areas around Barangays 21 and 23-C.

Mayor Sara Duterte stated that these efforts aim to intensify contact tracing and random testing.

Around 16 areas in the city are currently under street and household lockdowns due to reported cases.

Duterte also clarified on Saturday that while the city is preparing to test more people, it will not conduct mass testing.
