Cebu City aims 2.5K daily jabs for 70% protection

Cebu City aims to administer an average of 2,500 doses of COVID-19 vaccines daily to achieve 70% population protection by December.

Dr. Jeffrey Ibones, head of the Cebu City Health Office, said the city needs 1.4 million vaccine doses for this target and is currently capable of administering up to 500 doses per site.

Erik Miguel Espina, deputy lead convenor of Cebu City Project Vaccine Storm, noted an increasing demand for vaccines as many residents are eager to get vaccinated.
