Covid-19 vaccinations continue in Taal evacuation centers

The vaccination of residents against COVID-19 continues in Taal Volcano evacuation centers, with the NCR allocating 3,500 doses for Batangas evacuees.

Interior Secretary Eduardo Año reported that 1,034 families are currently housed in these centers and local governments continue to enforce health protocols.

Evacuees have varying reactions to vaccination; some like Nenita Francisco receive the vaccine despite fear of needles while others remain hesitant due to side effects.

The DOH will provide antigen test kits and vaccines for all evacuees, aiming to reduce transmission in these areas.
