Quezon City administers 901K vaccine doses, targets 1.7M by year-end

As of Tuesday morning, Quezon City has administered 901,839 coronavirus vaccine doses.

The city aims to vaccinate 1.7 million people by the end of the year and is currently vaccinating around 50,000 individuals daily.

663,828 people have received their first dose while 238,011 are fully vaccinated with two doses.

Mayor Joy Belmonte assured that despite a nearly depleted vaccine supply, second doses will continue to be administered as they have reserved vaccines for this purpose.

Quezon City's 'Bakuna Nights' program has vaccinated 16,000 economic front-liners since its launch three weeks ago and aims to extend the vaccination hours to 24 hours once supplies stabilize.
