PH: All health workers get first dose of Covid-19 vaccine

All healthcare workers in the Philippines have received their first dose of the Covid-19 vaccine, according to Secretary Carlito Galvez Jr., chief implementer of the National Task Force against Covid-19.

As of June 23, over nine million doses of coronavirus vaccines have been administered nationwide across five priority sectors including healthcare workers, the elderly, adults with comorbidities, economic front-liners, and indigent populations in select areas.

Galvez expressed confidence that the vaccination program can be further accelerated as more vaccine doses arrive in the country.
