South Cotabato confirms two new COVID cases; Sarangani reports third

Two more individuals in South Cotabato have tested positive for COVID-19, bringing the total active cases to seven.

A 45-year-old male OFW and a 35-year-old businessman from Tupi town are asymptomatic but under strict quarantine.

The OFW arrived on June 8, stayed in a Manila hotel, and returned home via a 'sweeper' flight on June 13; he tested positive for rapid diagnostic test upon arrival.

The businessman traveled by land from Manila to Tupi over three days, also testing positive upon arrival.

In Sarangani, an OFW from Alabel town has tested positive, making it the third confirmed case in the province.

This patient is under intensive care at Sarangani Health Care Facility and had previously tested negative for COVID-19 before returning home on June 10.
