Zamboanga City records another Covid-19 case

As of Friday, June 19, Zamboanga City recorded another coronavirus case, bringing the total to 191.

The new case, a 53-year-old locally stranded individual who arrived from Manila on June 5, is asymptomatic and stable.

There are now 150 recoveries out of the total 191 cases in the city, with five deaths and 36 active cases.

On Tuesday, June 16, Zamboanga City reported five additional new cases, increasing the total to 190. These include a student from Baliwasan who is asymptomatic and isolated at ADZU-Lantaka Isolation Facility, a returning overseas Filipino worker who arrived on June 6 by land travel from Manila via Cagayan de Oro, and three other individuals from Cebu who are either asymptomatic or symptomatic.
