PAGASA: Easterly winds bring rain over S Luzon, Visayas, Mindanao

On Thursday afternoon, PAGASA reported that easterly winds from the Pacific Ocean are affecting most parts of the Philippines, bringing cloudy skies and scattered rain showers over southern Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao.

Cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms are expected over Aurora and Quezon, while partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms will prevail in Bicol Region, Eastern Visayas, Caraga, Davao Region, and Palawan.

Elsewhere across the country, warm and humid weather is anticipated, with isolated rain showers likely in Metro Manila and other parts of Calabarzon, Mimaropa, and Visayas due to localized thunderstorms.

No low pressure area or typhoon is being monitored within or near the Philippine Area of Responsibility.

Light to moderate winds and slight to moderate seas still prevail across the archipelago.
