Rain or Shine secured a crucial 111-106 overtime victory over Magnolia on Sunday night to take a 2-1 lead in their PBA Governors' Cup quarterfinals series.

Despite an eye injury, Aaron Fuller scored nine of his game-high 29 points in overtime and added six assists and 11 rebounds, inspiring his teammates with critical plays throughout the game.

Jhonard Clarito contributed significantly with 18 points, eight rebounds, two assists, two steals, and a block, while Gian Mamuyac sealed the win by hitting five crucial free throws in the extra period.

Rain or Shine's coach Yeng Guiao praised Fuller for his warrior-like performance despite being doubtful to play due to an injury sustained two nights prior.

With this victory, Rain or Shine moves closer to advancing to the semifinals and will have another chance at securing a spot in the final four on Tuesday.
